What Webift costs and what you get: the Free (Pay per order) plan, the Standard plan from ₦5,000 a month, premium theme pricing and how payment provider fees fit in.

The short answer: Webift has two plans for merchants. The Pay per order plan (the Free plan) has no recurring subscription fee and charges a ₦300 platform fee on each qualifying paid order. The Standard plan is a subscription of ₦5,000 per month, ₦12,000 per quarter, ₦25,000 per six months or ₦50,000 per year, and adds invoices and receipts, custom domains, staff management, discounts, offline sales recording and the Money Tracker. Webift does not charge a percentage-based sales commission. Payment providers such as Paystack and Flutterwave charge their own fees separately.

Pricing verified from Webift's billing settings on 28 October 2026. Plans, prices and features can change, so confirm the current details in your Webift dashboard before you decide.

Webift plans at a glance

Pay per order (Free) Standard
Subscription None From ₦5,000 per month
Platform fee ₦300 per qualifying paid order Not listed as a Standard-plan term
Sales commission No percentage-based commission No percentage-based commission
Online store and business portal Yes Yes
Local payments Yes Yes
Business analytics Yes Yes

What the Free (Pay per order) plan includes

According to Webift's billing settings, the Pay per order plan includes:

  • A ready-to-use online store.
  • A business portal to manage your store.
  • Local payments.
  • Instant payment confirmations.
  • Access to business analytics.

It has no recurring subscription fee. Instead, Webift charges a ₦300 platform fee for each qualifying order. Webift describes this fee as applying to paid orders only, and says it is reversed if the whole order is refunded. How the fee is collected depends on how the order was paid: when a customer pays through the Webift gateway, it is deducted from your sale payout, and otherwise it is added to your balance, up to an unpaid-fee limit.

The Free plan does not include invoices and receipts, custom domains or Meta Pixel.

What counts as a qualifying order?

In plain terms, the fee applies to paid orders, not to every order placed. Webift's current wording says "paid orders only", and the fee is reversed if the whole order is refunded. For exact edge cases, check the plan terms in your dashboard.

What the Standard plan adds

Webift lists the Standard plan as intended for growing and established businesses with consistent sales. It includes everything in the Pay per order plan, plus:

  • Unlimited offline sales recording
  • Discount features
  • Invoices and receipts
  • Custom domain
  • Staff management
  • Money Tracker

Meta Pixel for your store is also part of the paid plan rather than the Free plan.

Standard plan prices

Billing period Price
Monthly ₦5,000
Quarterly ₦12,000
Six months ₦25,000
Yearly ₦50,000

Longer periods cost less per month. For example, ₦50,000 a year works out at about ₦4,167 a month, compared with ₦5,000 on a monthly plan.

What about premium themes?

Webift lets you preview premium themes for free. If you choose to use a premium theme on your store, there is a one-time charge of ₦500 per theme, according to Webift's current settings. This is separate from your plan.

What payment providers charge

Webift's plan prices do not include payment provider fees. If you accept payments through Paystack or Flutterwave, those providers charge their own transaction fees, which you can find on their pricing pages. For example, Paystack's published pricing for local Nigerian transactions has been 1.5% plus ₦100, with the ₦100 waived for transactions under ₦2,500 and fees capped at ₦2,000, but you should check the current rates directly. Bank transfer and cash on delivery do not go through a payment provider. See how to accept online payments in Nigeria.

Which plan should you choose?

Here are some examples of how to think about it:

Situation Plan to consider
Just starting, few orders Free (Pay per order)
Low-priced items, many orders Compare the per-order fee with the subscription
Need a custom domain or invoices Standard
Have staff helping you sell Standard
Offer promotions with discounts Standard

A simple break-even example

Suppose you sell 40 paid orders a month on the Free plan. At ₦300 per qualifying order, the platform fees would be ₦12,000 for that month, compared with ₦5,000 for a monthly Standard subscription. If you sell only 10 paid orders a month, the fees would be ₦3,000. Your own volume decides which is cheaper, and you may also want Standard for its features regardless of volume. This is only an illustration: check the terms shown in your dashboard before you decide.

How to change plans

New stores start on the Free plan. Plan and billing options are managed from your Webift dashboard, which shows the terms that currently apply to your account.
