Webift vs Bumpa (2026): Which Ecommerce Platform Is Right for Nigerian Merchants?
Webift vs Bumpa, compared side by side for Nigerian merchants: pricing, payments, delivery, inventory, digital products, analytics and mobile use, plus who each platform suits best.
The short answer: Webift and Bumpa are both built for Nigerian sellers, but they lean in different directions. Bumpa is a mature, app-style business tool with inventory, point-of-sale and social selling features. Webift is an ecommerce-first platform focused on a clean online store connected to Paystack, Flutterwave, bank transfer, cash on delivery, state-by-state delivery and digital downloads. The better fit depends on whether you mainly sell through chat and in person, or want a dedicated online store.

Who is each platform designed for?
Webift is designed for Nigerian small and growing businesses that want their own online store: a fashion seller in Lagos with sizes and colours, a beauty vendor in Abuja, a food business in Port Harcourt, or a creator selling ebooks. The aim is to replace a patchwork of chats, notebooks and screenshots with a store link that shows products, takes orders and records payments.
Bumpa describes itself as a platform for small businesses that sell through social media and in person. It says it serves more than 136,000 merchants, and it combines an online store with inventory, point-of-sale and customer tools. If your shop has a physical counter and your orders come mainly from Instagram or WhatsApp, that combination is attractive.
Store creation and onboarding
On Webift you create an account with your name, email, password, business name and phone number. The dashboard then shows a checklist called "Get to your first sale": add your first product, set up payments, configure delivery if you sell physical goods, customise your storefront, publish your store and get your first order. Your store is reachable at a Webift web address, for example yourstore.webift.com.
Bumpa offers a guided setup too, and is known for the amount of educational content it publishes. Both are aimed at non-technical users, so either can get a basic store live in a day if your photos and prices are ready.
Customisation and branding
Webift lets you add a logo, banner and tagline and shows your store at a Webift address. Bumpa's pricing page lists a free .com.ng domain on its Pro plan (renewal not included) and lists custom domains and templates as paid extras on Starter. If a branded domain is a priority from day one, check Bumpa's current terms, and read Webift's domain options in your dashboard before you decide.
Product management, variants and inventory
Webift supports physical and digital products, categories, and variants where each option has its own price, SKU, barcode and stock level. You can set low-stock thresholds, and stock is returned when an order is cancelled.
Bumpa is strong on inventory. Its plans add multiple locations as you move up (one location on Starter, two on Growth, three on Scale), which matters if you stock goods in more than one outlet. If you run several shops or warehouses, that is a real advantage.
Payments
Webift offers four ways to get paid, and you can switch on several at once so customers choose at checkout:
- Paystack and Flutterwave, using your own account and API keys, so the money goes to you
- Bank transfer, where customers see your account details and you confirm receipt
- Cash on delivery, offered only for orders of physical products
Bumpa lists card, bank transfer, QR and USSD payments, with Paystack and Nomba integrations according to its own content. Both depend on the terms of the payment provider you use, and gateway fees apply on top of the platform price. Paystack's published local rate was 1.5% plus ₦100, capped at ₦2,000, and Flutterwave's was 2% (checked 12 October 2026).
Delivery in Nigeria
Webift has a delivery setup built around Nigerian locations. You choose home delivery, customer pickup or both, then pick where you deliver: one city or LGA, one state, anywhere in Nigeria, or specific places. You set a price and an optional free-delivery threshold. Pickup is always free.
Bumpa's content mentions integrations with delivery providers such as ShipBubble and Fez Delivery. Webift does not currently offer live courier rate integrations, so delivery fees are the ones you set yourself. If automated courier booking matters to you, that favours Bumpa.
Physical and digital products
Webift supports both. For digital products you upload a file of any type up to 500 MB, or add an external link, and you can set a download limit per file. After the order is confirmed, the customer receives a download link by email. Orders paid through Paystack or Flutterwave for digital-only carts are confirmed automatically. Bank transfer orders wait until you confirm them.
We could not confirm digital-product selling on Bumpa's public pages. If you sell ebooks or templates, ask Bumpa directly or compare with a dedicated tool. Our guide to selling digital products in Nigeria explains the options.
Customers, discounts and marketing
Webift includes a Customers area, discount codes (percentage or fixed, with dates, usage limits and minimum order amounts), abandoned-cart recovery by email and staff accounts with roles. Bumpa highlights customer groups on Pro, customisable cart recovery, Instagram DM tools and WhatsApp product sharing, which makes it stronger for chat-led selling.
Analytics and reporting
Webift's overview shows sales over time, top products, sales by payment method, inventory counts and your setup checklist. Bumpa lists advanced analytics on its Growth plan. For a small store, either gives you the basics. Larger operations that want deeper reporting should compare the higher plans directly.
Mobile experience
Your Webift dashboard works in a phone browser, and your storefront is designed to be mobile-friendly. Bumpa is built as an app-first tool for sellers who manage their business from a phone, so check its current app availability if that matters to you.
Pricing and total cost
Headline prices are not like for like, so compare features, not just numbers.
| Plan | Price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| Webift free plan | No subscription price | Not applicable |
| Webift Standard | ₦5,000 | Monthly |
| Webift Standard | ₦12,000 | Quarterly |
| Webift Standard | ₦25,000 | Six months |
| Webift Standard | ₦50,000 | Yearly |
| Bumpa Starter | ₦15,000 | Quarterly |
| Bumpa Pro | ₦30,000 | Quarterly |
These are the prices we verified on 12 October 2026 and they may change. Bumpa's higher plans are billed over longer periods and some features use credits, so read its current pricing page. On the headline numbers, Webift's quarterly Standard price (₦12,000) is lower than Bumpa's quarterly Starter price (₦15,000), but the two plans include different things. Payment gateway fees are separate on both.
Benefits and limitations
Webift benefits: an ecommerce-first store, four payment options including cash on delivery, state-by-state delivery setup, digital downloads, discount codes and staff roles, with a monthly billing option.
Webift limitations: no point-of-sale, no live courier integrations, no automated WhatsApp ordering, no bulk product import and a smaller track record than Bumpa.
Bumpa benefits: a long-established product with inventory, POS, multi-location support, Instagram and WhatsApp tools and a large community.
Bumpa limitations: some features sit on higher tiers and use a credits system, lower tiers are billed quarterly and digital-product support is not clearly documented.
